I’d throw in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

Seems to me that there are a heck of a bunch of metro-sexual men starring in this list of manly men movies.

I’d drop the Robert Redford movies and add Billy Budd, Breaker Morant, Rashomon and Dersu Uzala.

Not enough comedy, too much Brando. No Roy Rogers, no Mel Brooks. Rebel without a cause? Ghandi? Cracker please.

I'd drop anything with Robert Redford (including
Butch Cassidy and
The Sting) except for
Jeremiah Johnson. Anything with Kevin Costner gets the boot.
Added:
Rio Bravo
Where Eagles Dare
The Hill
Being There
Dr. Strangelove
Fort Apache
The Outlaw Josey Wales

Brings back memories of these movies. I remember watching bullit when I was a kid at the movies. They hardly ever make -em like these any more.

100 best Man movies and James Bond appears once??? Makes the whole list suspect.

I’d have left out most of the Robert Redford movies (except Jeremiah Johnson). Can’t speak for most of the foreign films except 7 Samurai & Das Boot, so I guess I’d have to leave the rest in by default.
and i’d have added:
D.O.A.
The Naked Prey
Fistful of Dollars/Few Dollars More
Outlaw Josey Wales
Superfly/Shaft/Dolemite
