Dr. Valerie Saxon did a whole show on this, some folks lowered chronic high blood pressure just by drinking more good clean water, who knew. Give your kidneys a break , lube'um up.
I sometimes get a gallon of distilled from world wreckin' Wall Mart.
You gotta do what you gotta do to get hydrated, it's gotta taste good to get enough down.
I also have a Zero Water filter pitcher, filters cost $15 but it's really good tasting zero total solids water.
Gee, now I want some, I got thirsty jus' thinkin' about it.
I disagree. I think the water drinking fad is simply that. I don’t know of any good, reliable studies that show a benefit (in normal people of course) of drinking water more than you are thirsty for.
But - if you can point me to some good studies, I’m willing to consider adjusting my opinion.
(And, sodas and other sweet drinks are another issue - of course they’re bad for you).
I have trouble drinking plain water even the reverse osmosis and filter that I use. I’m sure you would say the water tastes fine but I need to add a modifying flavor then all is well.
With “Crystal Light” iced tea flavoring, I can drink a gallon. I’m looking for other options and suggestions.
