I have trouble drinking plain water even the reverse osmosis and filter that I use. I’m sure you would say the water tastes fine but I need to add a modifying flavor then all is well. With “Crystal Light” iced tea flavoring, I can drink a gallon. I’m looking for other options and suggestions.

Lemon juice is commonly used. Supposedly, it is easier on the liver. I used to have trouble drinking enough water, because it would make me nauseous. But adding a little bit of lemon juice did the trick. I now have between 5 and 6 quarts a day, without any problems.

Seltzer water is a good alternative (taste-wise) to water. And you can get cheap flavored store brands that are free of aspartame.
