There may be colder fusion one day, but fusion involves the release of great energies and one of them is heat. It is a near certainty that there will never be true cold fusion unless some exotic matter is found.
There has been only one colder fusion experiment that got anywhere close and actually released neutrons. I noticed that most (if not all) of the links to stories don’t contain that experiment but only reference to frauds.
If you want to latch on to something, latch on to this one (or simular) or the high energy plasma fusion one (it is electrostatic collapsing plasma bubble, same concept though)

If someone legitimately had a cold fusion experiment, they wouldn’t be able to be stopped.
I hear stories all the time that this guy had a engine that could go 1000 miles on a gallon of gas or something like this. These were all cons, and the con was so good that people to this day believe that it was the big bad oil companies that kept it from us. These people made up these stories and fled with the money while the marks have spread these stories down through the years so they get more fantastic with each telling.
The Green Jobs and the Green Economy is actually a continuation of the cons that have filtered down through the ages. No economist can say how these more expensive sources of energy are going to take root without destroying the entire economy or by giving it permanent taxpayer subsidies. They all have faith in their leader (the con) will deliver and the leader of the con keeps telling the marks it is just a matter of time before the payoff happens.
