Normally, the reaction gets more energetic by the removal of a control substance that is absorbing neutrons. The more neutrons, the greater the cascading reactions that continue to build.

The fusion process is radioactive. Point a geiger counter at the sun! It is a big fusion reactor.
The idea that someone has figured out how to do cold fusion, without releasing radiation, is asinine.
I checked out Pons and Fleishmans lab back in the day and put a voltage meter across their electrodes. They were lying about the voltages and kicked me out when they saw what I was doing.
These con artists are simply heating the units up with electricity, nothing more or less.
