I LOVED my M-14, but have since discovered the beauty of my AR-15.
They wouldn’t let me bring my M102 home with me, though.

Don't know what "vintage" Marine you are, but those words were actually an insult to WWII Marines.
My understanding is they meant either TFB or "I got mine, FU." Just saying.

Love my M-4 also, but to reach out to touch some one, the M14 was the one to turn to (except for 1000 yds then it was M70 Winchester)
