I’m back from the Walmart. Later I’ll go by the Post Office, the library, and the Dollar Store, as well as picking up Tom.
The church is collecting flip-flops for a mission in Sierra Leone. The pastor said the people there pick up parasites and diseases walking barefoot, and a few hundred pairs of flip-flops will save some lives.
I’m tired, but I still need to hang up the clothes. *sigh* I let the laundry pile get too big. Now, with me walking two or three times a week, I’m always exhaused when I wake up.
Takes me back to the days when I was working and had to walk a mile to the bus stop. That was hard, but walking that far at the end of a long day was murder.
