Lauren’s song is better than Scotty’s and it’s a nice tempo. Everybody likes mothers - mostly. Don’t they? Oh, a little rough but just that one note. I think Lauren’s winning this round. Song’s got a good hook “like my mother does.”

I think by now everyone has their favorites and it doesn’t really matter if they fall on their faces tonight. Lauren will probably pull most of Haley’s votes just being a girl. Scotty has always had a great following. It will be interesting. Scotty has my vote...always has. I really think that he can handle the stardom better than Lauren. I worry about what the notoriety could do to her. She doesn’t appear as grounded or mature. Both are great kids and have a lot to look forward to.
