Timeout! How great to “see” you! I have to admit, I do a lot more listening then watching during the live thread. I miss a lot of the visuals.

I don’t know if there is a DWTS thread. JMO, the dancing shows are a little hard to do live threads on because you have to completely watch in order to know what’s going on. With AI, you can just listen and occasionally look up at the TV.

Yeah, I guess it would be hard judging the dancing without WATCHING IT! LOL!

I’m rootin’ for Lauren to break out tonight. She’s got the talent if she can just get over the nerves. Still think it’s going to be a James/Scottie finals, though.

BTW, if there’s a live X Factor thread, I presume the AI ping list will go over there?!!!

James Durbin

His first song (I assume they're each going to sing two songs with maybe a couple of duets thrown in to fill out the 90 minutes) is Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'"

James: I know you know this song, Randy!

(The Journey card--well played, Durbin, well played.)

He does a pretty good job with it.

Steven: Hey Randy, you recognize that song? (to James) You couldn't have picked a better song.

J-Lo: Amazing. Not everybody can do that.

Randy: (on Journey) Other than Aerosmith, one of the greatest bands ever. Highest degree of difficulty and YOU DID IT!

I played back a couple of last night’s performances and just listened (didn’t watch). They didn’t sound as good without the visuals. Not by much, but I could hear the difference.

Now, that comes down to whether one is a “voice only” judge or one who judges the entire performance. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the final three are going to be the ones who’ve made the best use of the stage!

Something I’ve been wondering: do they have professionals helping them with stagecraft, choreography, costumes, etc?
