this reminds me so much of my very good neighbor john’s dog Snowflake that died a few months ago at age 17. John really really took this hard. No family to speak of & this was his buddy. He has a good girlfriend but a guy & his pup are lose (well so are we gals & our pups)

Thank you for the nice comments on my doggie post, Amy, Dolly and tiapam.
This dog is like my daughter's beloved companion, Chipper. He
had cancer when he was about 16 and I was there when the day
came to be merciful and put him down.. She had her husband
with her but this dog was absolutely her dog...
It's so hard to lose a pet..They are family.
I am better than yesterday..Still taking it easy this week
I am enjoying everyone's posts.
