Mine was similar to the one in the middle, except a
little taller and thinner at the bottom. I think
mine actually was a cookie jar. Its a
candy jar for me. And no, its never full although
I kept a lot of things in it when the girls came to visit.

Isn't it amazing how certain 'things' can emote intense memories?

My Grandma used to serve everything in Shawnee pottery. I have collected it over the years, but hardly ever use it, as it is so expensive.

That platter used to hold ten ears of corn on the cob - (picked from their garden 30 minutes before!)
