When there was talk last week about bluebonnets being this week, (you and MEG I believe) I went in search. I must admit I absolutely did not know bluebonnets came in any other color than BLUE! lol

A Sign from God
What I thought was the wrong number turned out to be the answer to my prayers.
By Tammy Walker, Moore, Oklahoma
My seven-year-old son, Shane, made it through a four-hour operation to remove a brain tumor. But we wont know whether the tumor was malignant until tomorrow, the doctor said.
That night I didnt leave Shanes bedside. Around midnight an intensive-care nurse suggested I go home to try to get some rest. Heres the phone number of the hospital, she said, handing me a piece of paper. You can call us anytime.
I hated to leave, but I had been awake for more than 24 hours, so I went to my house, where I dozed fitfully. Somewhere around 6:00 A.M. I dialed the number the nurse had given me. When a female voice answered I identified myself as Shanes mother. How is he? the woman asked.
I was puzzled. Is this Childrens Memorial Hospital? Honey, this is no hospital, the woman said. Were just a group of women who heard about your son and decided to keep a prayer chain going for him. My friends and I have been on our knees all night praying for that little boy and one of us just asked God to give us a sign that he had heard. Then you called. Praise the Lord.
The tumor was benign and Shane made a miraculous recovery. Ive tried to get back in touch with that woman: Ive dialed every possible variation of the hospitals number and never again heard her beautiful, velvety voice. But Ill feel connected to her always.

"A Sunday of Blessings"
And, a Sunday of Blessings to YOU, too, Teenie!
I do believe I read that it is now a LAW
That every Texan MUST take pictures
Of their children, grandchildren and furry kids
Sitting among the Bluebonnets, every Spring!

Dear Amy, I'm So Glad Amy's Place will Remain Open!
I Love Everyone Here, and Hope to Post More Soon.
For Many Months my Husband and I have been Working on an Old House on our Property,
But the Work will be Winding Down as Soon as I Finish Painting the Upstairs.
The House was Made in 1900, and is in Pretty Good Shape.
Thank you to Everyone for the Pings you Send me!
