My tin-foil hat tells me that Hawass has been effective at covering up new archaeological evidence for the truth of the Bible i.e. the Exodus and creation of the Jewish state 2500 years ago.

And now they're keeping him on because he's done such a great job. Willing to be proven wrong, but have believed this for several years...

My dislike of Zahi has nothing to do with Jews, as a matter of fact, I knew nothing of his anti-sematic opinions. I don’t like him for his belittling of anyone, who doesn’t hold with strict Egyptologists’ views.
