I'd love to see him go head to head with O'Reilly. Not sure he could do an entire network, though. He might end up like Dan Rather, doing his show on a channel that no one watches. He'd need some backing and a way to fill the day with content.

If he could join an existing channel that has an existing viewership, and then do a one or 2 hour nightly show, that might be the best way to do it. He could be like Conan on TBS, only he would do it on TNT or USA or CMT. The network that took him would see 5 times the ratings they currently get, and we would have some desperately needed conservative competition on the 8pm time slot.
