can’t stand Robin Williams and don’t think he’s funny, but The Birdcage is great. I watch it every time it comes on TV. All the characters are good it their roles.
It's because Nathan Lane is in that movie, and anything that Nathan Lane does is solid gold. Even Mousehunt, a movie that would be otherwise completely unwatchable, is a solid movie because of his performance.
I don’t care for his manic standup routines, but Robin Williams is a great actor. Have you seen ‘One Hour Photo’ and ‘Bicentennial Man’? If not, try to catch these.
I thought ‘The Bird Cage’ was hilarious. LOL
