Back when Titanic came out, they were still selling VHS tapes, and it was long enough that it took up two of them. I always thought they should have made them available for purchase separately -- the first tape for women, and the second one for men.
Is that you Sargent Murtaugh?
I believe the correct spelling is "DiCrappio".
Va-Va-Va-Voom!
I just don't understand that.
can’t stand Robin Williams and don’t think he’s funny, but The Birdcage is great. I watch it every time it comes on TV. All the characters are good it their roles.
The best thing in The Graduate was the Alfa Romeo.
Worst movie I ever saw at the theater was Felini-Satyricon, dubbed in English. Only movie I ever walked out on.
After I read Pertonius’ SATYRICON I again saw the movie on tv in Italian with English subtitles. A much better movie! But still too faggy.
It's because Nathan Lane is in that movie, and anything that Nathan Lane does is solid gold. Even Mousehunt, a movie that would be otherwise completely unwatchable, is a solid movie because of his performance.
I thought of that scene when I saw the kids in Obama T-shirts singing praises to Obama.
Me too.
THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD with Richard Burton. I saw it in 1966 at the theater. The only movie I almost fell asleap in hoping it would get better as it went along. It didn’t.
Another is MODISTY BLAISE back in 1966. I kept asking myself, How much longer is this thing going to go on! OK for a 80 minute film, but each time they came to a point to end the film they just kept going till a full 2 hours of my life was expended.
Don’t know the actors in the movie but is Nathan Lane Robin Willians wife? Excellent acting...
You left out poor kid gets to see rich naked chick.
***Ive tried watching American Beauty a couple of times. appealing.***
I’ve never been able to sit through THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (gag!). I’ve tried several times. It’s just way too faggy for me. I did finally see the last 10 minutes of it.
You’re right. Apparently you liked the film even more than I did and remember more of the details. But aren’t replicants just an advanced form of androids? The original story was titled, “Do androids dream of electric sheep?”.
Yep. He’s the star of the show.
Have to disagree with 2001. I saw in at the Cinerama in Hollywood (anyone else remember that?)when it first came out. It was stunning and set a high mark in film making that it took years for others to surpass. (The fact that this was the first date with my soon-to-be wife may cloud my judgment, though....) Daisy...daisy..
