I guess it could be worse..way worse, but we wont go there. At least these two were sane enough to realize the commitment of a real child and opted for a faux-baby. If there happy and harmless then I am happy for them. Even if it is a little strange

Google “reborn babies.” There are women who pay over a thousand dollars for these re-painted, re-haired, very realistic dolls, and some of them treat them like real babies.
At least with these two men, the doll is an obvious doll and a joke, an excuse for a party.

We had a poor old man up the street when I was a kid who's relatives had all passed and when he hit about 85 he started calling a doll his son. After he took it through the McDonald's drive through a few times and ordered it a happy meal, he went to a nursing home, not on a cruise and trip to Antarctica.
