Spend the extra cash and buy a K98 Mauser.....Nice German engineering.
These days, German K98’s are getting to be distinctly “not cheap.”
With a couple pre-war Model 70’s in the safe, I’m not much of a surplus guy... although I wouldn’t mind a Winchester 1895 Carbine in .30-40 Krag.
