Either ZedPM (zero point module) or Blue Energy produce more energy, both are more portable, and neither crack or burn out as quickly. Of course the drawback is in the difficulty of their manufacture, whereas Dilithium crystals are fairly easy to mine, cut, and polish.

Another good resource is Naquadria and is more abundant than Dilithium crystals but less stable and needs much refining to make it a useable energy source.

We should procure a healthy supply of all 4 to meet our energy needs. Unfortunately, this administration has banned all of those, claiming they all cause AGW - Anthropogenic (man-made) Galactic Warming.

AGW, as you know, will cause our Galaxy to implode into a dark hole and will eventually swallow up the entire Universe as predicted by the answer to the Great Question:
