I’m with this guy. We have a new law in CA where the checker at a store is no longer allowed to ask us our zip codes when we purchase something, and I love it! What business is it of theirs to know where we live? I know it’s for marketing, but still.

We were in Kohl’s tonight. I was surprised they still ask for your zip. We usually make one up. Customers give this so readily; even their phone 3s. Let them pay me for the info. DBKP

I stopped buying at Radio Shack years ago because they always hassled me over not giving them my zip code...I wish Oregon had a law like that!
