A good moose story about moose doing what moose do, and people thinking they are not wild animals is worth repeating often.
My old boss in Alaska told of his first year in Anchorage. A moose was in his back yard. Since his deck had a good handrail and was raised up 4 feet, he felt brave enough to go outside.
The moose wandered over, so he got a carrot out and feed it. Then he wondered what else it would eat. Turns out everything in his fridge (which is really bad for the moose). When he run out of food, the moose got mad and tore off all the railing with his Antlers.
My boss was cowering inside, praying it wasn't going to jump on the deck and come through the glass door looking for more food.
Why does this story remind me of what is happening with public unions right now?
