You hit the nail on the head...Beck idolizes Orson Welles and his “Mercury Theater of the Air.” Glenn can only hope he doesn’t end up like Orson, whose career peaked with “Citizen Kane.” Less than 20 years after that success, he couldn’t find work in Hollywood and he was better known to later generations as the pitchman in TV wine commercials.

I never heard Beck mention it and I just thought it was a convenient tidbit that Mr. Scare, Glenn Beck, uses the business name of the author of the biggest national scare of all time.
But I refuse to jump to conclusions based on assumptions or partial knowledge.
