Having spent some time in Cornwall and nearby areas, I must say that it is a very eerie place; there is something mystical about the whole region, something that hearkens back to a dark and shrouded past. I always enjoy reading about what they uncover, and I always enjoy your posts SunkenCiv, even when I don't comment on them. Thanks for all your efforts!

Cornwall (and devonshire) are two parts of england I have not spent time in, to my great regret. There is SO much bronze/iron age stuff about the countryside. I may have to wait a while till kids grown but I do intend to take a week or so to drive around and explore at some point, if england is still a reasonable place to go in 15 years.
