Both you and Vendome need to get some help (if you are actually two separate posters). If you have actually ever “helped” anyone (which I doubt) then you would know that help takes time. I volunteer at a homeless shelter and know how frustrating it can be. But after awhile, you realize that people who are in the position to be in a homeless shelter are there because life has not treated them well; their skepticism about the motives of others is well merited.
You can tell them till you’re blue in the face that you “care about them” or that you are “there to help them”, but they’ve heard that a million times before. If they’re homeless, it’s because all those people who “cared” about them lied.

Having gone through years of real depression I know for a fact that you would never say that if you were depressed. That's just another narcissistic lie.

There is another lie that I just noticed. Where did I go back over your posting history? That's just nuts.
You are again full of it and I doubt you work at a homeless shelter for any reason other than to make yourself feel better for somehow being superior.
Most people who are in a homeless shelter are not there because life dealt them a really long series of bad cards but rather they continue to make a very long series of bad decisions.
It can’t be helped that there are people in the shelter who have made that their life and occasionally you can reach one and strike a match to show them the way. They need someone to reach out them if they want to move from where they and show them the very hard work of thinking differently, with a more positive and hopeful outlook.
For only about 25% of the people in a shelter, their position is temporary. They either where dealt a series of bad cards and I know about that. I once went through 7 jobs in just 2 years as each company I went to work for eventually succumbed.
Not a big deal and I moved on. It was out of my control and at best was only an annoyance to me as I had plenty of rainy day money set aside for something I never really thought would happen but had prepared for just in case.
When that day came it really didn’t affect and my rainy day savings was replenished each and every time, in short order.
The 25% of short timers are generally hopeful people and will find their way of this temporary situation and they know consciously they will be better off for the experience, even though it a difficult time, humiliating and at times desperate.
But, those people fight through it at their various speeds, placing their hope in God and the general kindness of the mankind of the sort you find in America.
And Yeah, you found us out. We are trolls with multiple logins and yet we have been here a considerably longer time than you and we are well known to a good portion of the Freeper community, some of whom we have met personally or talked with over the phone.
