I’ll be looking forward to your update, dearest Amy. Please give him a smooch on his unshaven cheek from me and all of us, or on his clean shaven cheek if he’s since shaved. Sort of a running joke. In his update, he sounded cheerful. Dear God and sweet Jesus, please hold him close and let his good cheer continue.
I just called him. He sounded good but he has not seen any doctors yet this morning.
He has kind of accepted that the leg will have to be removed but not sure when. I’m praying that they can relieve his pain and still postpone the amputation.
