So explain to me how wrapping up a christian message in a secular rock sounding veneer is not ‘imitating the world’ or ‘conforming to the world.’?

After all this is why you’re doing it. To reach the kids with music they like. Gotta make the christian message palatable to the rest of the world that likes ungodly forms of music. Music that makes you want to dance seductively. Music that makes you want to get violent with others.

Tell you what friend. If you listen to regular rock music without any words in it, and then listen to so-called ‘christian rock’ without the words, you can’t tell the difference. However, you listen to the music played out of your church’s hymnal, you know it’s godly music whether you hear the words or not.

And you darn well know that is true.

You didn't watch/listen to any of the links, did you. As long as you refuse to listen to the Coloring Song or Road to Zion this conversation can go nowhere.

God gave us infinite forms of expression. You are too focused on the secular to see that God created everything, including Rock and Roll, and it's the Devil that distorts it. You sir, are stuck on the Evil Ones mindset. And boy does he have a hold of you! The message is only valid if it's presented the way you think it should be. How sad. The message is in the words, not the music.
