I dont care about the words.
Then you condemn hymns and all other music with lyrics.
but put them to thrash or metal or had rock music,
Petra is none of those but you are too afraid to find that out.
Petra stole riffs from Kiss’ “Heaven’s on Fire” song, in their “Seen and Not Heard” song. Many so-called christian rockers admit in interviews they were inspired to be rockers by secular bands that sing very clearly anti-christian songs.
I didn’t say Petra was thrash or punk. I am simply stating there are thrash and punk bands that also claim to be ‘christian’ but they clearly are not. Petra is a rock band that claims to be christian, but isn’t. They are just a rock band trying to convince people that you can play secular music but put some references to God in it and somehow that makes their music god-pleasing.
Why have no major denominations ever included any christian rock songs into their official hymnals? Why are we not singing as congregations these god-pleasing ‘christian rock’ songs in regular church worship services?
