Hey, brother in Christ. I'm praying for you. Everything you've written could have been written by me. As the Bible says, there is nothing new under the sun. There are Legion of us who have felt the same way, Christian or not.

There is an old hymnal that goes, "Count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your blessings, see what God has done....". Try to take a minute and just do that and contemplate how he has blessed you. I can see that one thing he has blessed you with is a lot of FReeper friends that care about you, of which I am one. - OB1

A much beloved aunt I lost a few years ago wrtoe a similar little poem. I'll shorten it and post it below:

Count your blessings with your sorrows
Leave out not a single one.
For God did give them all to you
And even His own Son.

She had a few lines naming a few of the beautiful, simple things we rush through life taking for granted, like the smell of fressh mowed hay and the purr of a close-by cat, but the essence is that all of these things God gave to you individually because He made you so you could sense and feel the realness of them all. Pity the poor Angels, unable to fill every hour with the smells and sights and feel of all that God has created to surround and include us in/with.
