I had lunch with my father (a retired neurosurgeon) and he said that usually the symtoms from a TIA will take a day or so to clear up

Actually (from wife) a TIA can resolve anywhere from minutes to hours. She did have facial muscle weakness in the video.

In adults (over 25) the seizure is triggered by a tumor in 2 of 3 cases, and unfortunately, the tumor can be a glioma (very bad).

Hopefully it is not a glioma.

She needs to get a complete workup by a neurologist.

Sadly it appears she has not gotten proper advice. It is good she is seeing her Doctor, but it would have been better to go to the ER for an immediate workup (specifically a Cardiac Ultrasound to rule out a PFO).

My first thought was that she had a TIA (and it may very well be that she did), but my father felt that since her symtoms cleared up so soon after the event (having been seen within moments by the EMTs) it would be more likely a seizure.

Hopefully she seeks proper care to find out what actually happened.
