"The geographical spread of some lineages are interesting. We unexpectedly see a identical V HVR1 and HVR2 lineage both among Saami and native Irish. This is possibly Scandinavian women with Saami ancestry or Saami women following Norse settlers to Ireland under the Viking age settlements, because else we would expect to see these other lineages also well represented in Britain and in the earlier colonies where the testing have been dense. Extremly slow mutation rate in this V lineage is also a possible explanation."
