My five in no particual order.

1. Airport scene Rick and Elsa 'Casablanca'
2. When Charley comes back to Sue and talks to her in her garden 'Open Range'
3. Sun Foy takes the chance gets off the stage and stays so that she can be with Tom 'Broken Trail'
4. You can go wrong with the end of 'An Officer and a Gentleman'
5.Iris and Roy Hobbs 'The Natural' young love lost and regained.

A couple of my choices might throw some of you, but there they are.

In the movie “Little Women” where the wind blew through the room when the sister died.........Oh, wait a minute. I thought you said most rheumatic. Sorry.

The pottery scene in “Ghost”
The Balcony scene in “Romeo and Juliet (Whiting and Hussy)”
And an unusual pick which is maybe less romantic and more sensual. The wedding night scene in “Dracula (Langella and Nelligan)” Pretty hot stuff.

There is also an element of romance in movies about freedom. “Midnight Express” and “Shawshank Redemption”.
Both movies used a rain scene...Perhaps as a woman watching you fall for the guy and his freedom is the ultimate climax.

My all-time favorites are,

1.) The campfire scene between Daniel-Day Lewis and Madeline Stowe in "The Last of the Mohicans"

2.) Mel Gibson and Sigourney Weaver in "The Year of Living Dangerously."
