You believe that a sexual behavior is genetic? Then you think George was born to "do" the family dog and cousin Ken was born to love dead Aunt Tildie, literally, and Horace can't keep his hands off children because sexual behavior is programmed when you're born?
I'm a Conservative and believe that people make choices for behavior. I don't make excuses for them.
I believe there is a case for sexual orientation being genetic. Behavior is another matter, and I'm not making excuses for anyone else's behavior, nor am I suggesting that those who abuse animals or children should get a pass because it is genetic. On the contrary, I think a fitting form of behavior modification for a pedophile would be a one way trip to an incinerator.
