There is ZERO evidece that Sally Hemmings was impregnated by Thomas rather than Randolph, who spent the summer on Thomas’ estate. There were EIGHT Jefferson men, one of whom was the father. That is all that can be said definitively. The accusation against Thomas came about to deflect the outrage against serial adulterer and rapist Bill Clinton.

So about those snakes with legs... Look, you nut. I was making a joke. I actually wasn't even positive Jefferson wrote the "inalienable" line. Regardless, I'm sorry, i don't hold the founding fathers up as deities. They were great men who wrote and ratified perhaps the greatest legal document of all time. But lots of them owned slaves and others were philanderers and whatnot. My point: God didn't write our Declaration of Independence or Constitution. Some here feel otherwise. So be it.
