While Christina Aguilera flubbed her lines by mistake, Super Bowl performers the Black Eyed Peas fudged the lyrics to one of their halftime songs on purpose.
The quartet descended from the top of the football stadium on individual platforms and sang a medley of "I Gotta Feeling," "Boom Boom Pow," "Pump It," "Get It Started," "Time of My Life" and a new version of "Where Is the Love?" featuring a message to President Obama.
Singing against a backdrop of glow-in-the-dark words that spelled out "love," will.i.am changed the words to the hit song in order to include a plea for Bam's help to improve the nation.
"In America we need to get things straight/Obama let's get these kids educated/Create jobs so the country stays stimulated/This is dedicated to all the innovators," he sang.

They should have gotten "That Little Old Band from Texas", ZZ Top.
You would be more dictatorial than Obama!
What do you think we should eat?
That would have made sense and logic and the superbowl do not go together. Madison Ave still thinks all PR is good PR.
I said "should." I did not say that the government should ban conservatives from watching or otherwise patronizing it.
For what it is worth, “Face-palm” means to smack yourself for doing something stupid. Your palm is traveling to your face because you need to punush yourself for doing something stupid. “Crap, we made a housemusic band to the job of a rock band! *face-palm” Atleast I hope is what the people responsable for putting theses jackasses on stage are saying to themselves.
Who owns the black eye peas?
They are a manufactured band and they have the female there as the eye candy.
Texas, what happened to you?
What next? manpurses with texas logos?
You think the world SHOULD live by your value system?
Compared to some of the crap that is shown on TV these days, you really think the Super Bowl is all that corrupting?
The only political statement I heard all day was sung (if that is singing!) at half-time.
Glee is the “gay” show. Ann Hathaway (allegedly the next actress to play wonder woman) is going to guest as a homosexual.
The commecials used to be fun. You are correct, they have become creepy and homosexual. Snickers is still to be avoided after that two men immitating the lady and the tramp spagetti moment.
Advertisers do not understand that a bad commercial can DESTROY their brands. (just ask bankrupt quiznoes and the singing roadkill rats)
ZZ Top, George Strait, or the Man in the Moon would have been better than what we got yesterday.
I’d only like to see Run-DMC for that one song, not for half the show. (I haven’t seen them perform since the death of Jam Master Jay.)
When I heard the lyrics during the show, they didn’t strike me as critical. Maybe they were meant to be. Maybe my bias caused me to hear them in a way they were not meant.
I've seen Run DMC alone, and they were great. It was before the sad death of Jam Master Jay.
what happened to the “alternate halftime” show ala in living color which had a count down clock.
Then again with low ratings, why bother?
(dosn’t NASCAR get this level of attendance every weekend?)
You really know how to excite a guy! Bob
Just one man’s opinion. Let’s see what plays out.
You think the world SHOULD live by your value system?
Shrug. I've made a solid case, backed up by facts, as to why conservatives should boycott the NFL. Whether you agree or not is irrelevant, the facts are the same nonetheless. Whether you want to watch it or not is your choice. But if you choose to watch it, you're essentially rewarding the left, whether you want to accept it or not. To suggest that I am acting like a leftist and forcing people to not watch the NFL is silly and unreasonable on your part.
You are completely out of toucvh with reality.
Oh, I know. But if your scenario came to me in a dream, I’d break out in a cold sweat. lol This time we need better! Blessings, Bob
“This time we need better!”
Bob, you ain’t kidding!!!
Blessings to you and all the sane folk!
