The black eyed peas are great.. The audio was bad, that’s all.
Stop being so negative ... It’s not your style music... Doesn’t make them bad.
It’s a rule, you don’t get to play the Super Bowl Halftime, if you ARE great, only if you WERE great. Prove me wrong.
Sound system malfunction - yeah, that's the ticket. LOL!
Why am I so not surprised to see that comment from you? They sucked.
I am sorry but they were awful and mostly off key.
LLS
You are entitled to your opinion...however you are in the minority. That was not entertainment, it was garbage!
lol, don’t be so defensive.
I think the only reason everybody thinks the Black Eye Peas suck out loud is because their halftime show was so pathetic; the sound was horrible, the cheap autotune gimmick was so ‘90s, and the songs were mediocre. I suspect that most people like me, who never heard of them before, did not get a good first impression from that show.
But if you say they’re actually decent, then okay, I believe you.
Oh wait - - you said they’re “great”. Hmmm. Sorry. No sale.
FRegards,
LH
Hildy, I don’t think the audio was bad - the problem is the Black Eyed Peas were not in the studio so their real voices could not be manipulated by the sound man. I do have some BEP in my music repertoire, but I do acknowledge that their music is studio enhanced. To be honest, I wasn’t impressed with the show - they could have put the “Blue Men” up there and they would have entertained me the same. Perhaps they should stick with country musicians who seem to be able to pull off a “live show”. I’m not a country fan, but it seems these days it is the genre that has talent.
