Thanks for that reply. The other part of that question was (in my mind) whether or not the magnetic shift constant is pushing pacific currents further south.

Do not know anything about the Magnetic North Pole shifts changing water currents in the Pacific. Would assume that the only mechanisms would be changes to the atmosphere which would affect the atmospheric winds. Those winds can change surface currents. Perhaps there is also a possibility that the Arctic Ocean itself is being affected, but water current flows between the Pacific and Arctic are somewhat restricted.
