NASA has been warning about it…scientific papers have been written about it…geologists have seen its traces in rock strata and ice core samples... Now "it" is here: an unstoppable magnetic pole shift that has sped up and is causing life-threatening havoc with the world's weather.

Yes, it’s fun to watch - up to the point of personal catastrophe. If this continues at some point modern society will begin to unravel from famine etc. I do wonder about the folks down under - are they screaming for help and our MSM not listening?

The chronometer was not available until the 1700’s, so a mariner had no way to pinpoint where he was on the earth’s surface in an east/west direction.
If you want to escape weather extremes move to Western Washington, my neck of the woods. We had a little more snow than usual this winter with temps in the teens for a few days, and last summer we had one day that hit 99 degrees (which was miserable because hardly anyone here has AC). But other than that our climate is still temperate year-round. Not sure why, but W Wash has been insulated (so far) from the weather extremes in the rest of the world.
It’s because of the SUVs. The pole is shifting to the east more rapidly due to the growing affluence of China.
They are buying large numbers of SUVs which attract the north magnetic pole causing it to shift.
Obama must insist the Chinese go back to bicycles or he will send them a strongly worded letter. ALL IN CAPS!!!
Global warming is the Left's Holy Grail. Polar shifts and scientific evidence notwithstanding, they'll never give up their quest.
Well, I survived global cooling as a child in the 70’s and I survived AGW as a (sometimes) adult in the 90’s I think I can ride this one out as a geezer.
