Well, again the most important thing to do is keep the dead skin cells off the face....they build up every 22 to 25 days. When they aren’t taken off you just plaster them on with creams and lotions...month after month.

I can look at a womans face and tell right away if she has a buid up...it’s noticable...additionally the lines and wrinkles will be deeper for that.

When people have dematologists use various methods to smooth the skin...what they are really doing is getting off those dead skin cells.

I saw woman addicted to face treatments. There skin was so dry and tight...red and inflammed and yet still they wanted more! They are as badly disturbed as people with eating disorders...they see themselves very differently then what we see.

Good advice, Caww. You know, people with Alzheimer’s do not understand how important it is to wash each day. Most of the patients in Nursing homes absolutely hate the bath or shower. They think if they have not excercised or moved around much, they don’t need to wash.

I have tried to explain it to patients (that were close to my heart) many times, but they just don’t ‘get’ it. Our bodies build new skin cells every day, and the old ones need to be removed with soap and water. (I hope and pray I never get to the point that I forget that message.)
