Thanks, tia. Yes, even with all of our problems and challenges, we still have it better than anywhere else on earth. I know we have wolves at our door, but I am so thankful that I have been able to live and raise my son and see my grandchildren raised in relative freedom.

Happy Red Friday, Everyone.

Took Max back to vet today; they took x-rays and tested for heartworm and something that I have forgotten. They also tested for Valley Fever; we will not get the results of the Valley Fever test until sometime next week. If it comes back negative they will check him for heart disease. He is becoming a very expensive pet. Today's charges were $324.00. OUCH!! They left him on the expensive antibiotics ($5.75/pill @ 3 per day). They also said to give him adult dosage of cough syrup. I need to see if the Robitussin is still good.
