Sorry guys, that I haven’t been around much. There’s not much time left over for playing at Amy’s. We rambled on so long yesterday I suppose...LOL! I kept my robe on until an hour ago and finally showered and cleaned up a bit. I need to go to store for a few things but I need a nap, too, plus I’m hungry! What to do, what to do? LOL! Its 15 to 4 here in Tennessee.

Doing fine. I've been really busy making American Indian art objects (earrings and necklaces and other things carved out of deer and elk horn) and now making Hawaiian necklaces and earrings also. (fish hooks, Palaoas, mini poi pounders matching sets etc) Last fall I had two buyers in N. Cal. buy most of my inventory so I'm building up a new one for this year. Maui got some well needed rain this year but even in the rain the air is warm. Lots of Humpback whales here now and the charter boats are going out full every day. Aloha

Did you hear about the guy who was in a bar about as drunk as its possible to get?

A group of guys notice his condition and decide to be good Samaritans and take him home. First they stand him up to get to his wallet so they can find out where he lives, but he keeps falling down. He fell down eight more times on the way to the car, each time with a real thud.

After they get to his house, he falls down another four times getting him to the door.

His wife comes to the door, and one guy says, “We brought your husband.”

The wife asks, “Where’s his wheelchair?”

The Gulf War Ground Assault: 20 Years Later

02/23/2011 12:01 PM EST Chief of Staff for the Department of Veterans Affairs; Gulf War Veteran. It’s hard to believe that 20 years have passed since the ground assault of Operation Desert Storm began on February 23, 1991. On that day, I was commanding a field artillery battalion in the 1st Infantry Division positioned along Saudi Arabia’s border with Iraq.

A radical feminist is getting on a bus when, just in front of her, a man gets up from his seat.

She thinks to herself, “Here’s another man trying to keep up the customs of a patriarchal society by offering a poor, defenceless woman his seat”, and she pushes him back onto the seat.

A few minutes later, the man tries to get up again. She is insulted again and refuses to let him up.

Finally, the man says,

“Look, lady, you’ve got to let me get up. I’m two miles past my stop already.”

At the church we attended back then, a Sunday evening service was presented honoring our military forces. I was in the choir at that time and also participated in one of the drama presentations. Got a VHS video of it somewhere in all my stuff. Seems a good time to view it again.

Good evening, Teenie. Wednesday was good - I did take the train. The morning train was running a little late and made me late for work. As a result I had to work a little later and missed the early train home. Such is life. :)
