I think Ham radios will be the only thing left. Maybe two way radios would work. Scary.

I have great faith that my Collins Twins would work. Old but reliable. (and several other rigs) But I might have to fire up the generator to run it. But don't expect that, it would take EMP to cripple us that bad.

Ham radio is the first line of defense in case of national disasters. In earthquakes, floods cell towers go down. Might think about joining your local ham radio operator network. You no longer have to do morse code. Radio’s are cheap though. Just got hubby a new one for the car for Christmas $250.
