I sincerely hope the perception is correct but consider where we live before getting too hopeful.

I don't know about you, but I live in America, and America is pissed off. Review the November 2nd election results, if you need reassurance of that.

yes -
I've decided that I have listened to all I can tonight - and since I sure can't do one thing about it all - but worry to pieces, I'm going to call it a night, send up prayers, and hope tomorrow shows a better situation.

I just can't shake the suspicion that this is all orchestrated by he who has no BC - and his handlers.

received lots of feedback from people with their fingers on the pulse and the first post/article sums it up pretty well.
It’s times like this we need a leader, not a street organizer running the show.
The man will vote present like Carter did in 79. He has more in common with the protesters than he does with his fellow Americans and his loathing of the US will doom us for a generation. His inability to make a decision or take decisive action on anything that does not relate immediately to his benefit will be exposed but the media won’t cover it.

For all of those that could not hold their noses and vote for McCain, remember that elections have consequences. Think about that day when you’re waiting in line for $7 gallon gas and paying over $5 for a loaf of generic white bread.

10. Biggest loser #1; USA. Oil prices cripple economy. Even worse, word in every diplomatic circle becomes "See what happens to America's friends."

All according to Obama's plan....

The day is just starting in Egypt, and of course its all recorded talking heads now in the US, CNN does seem to have a better handle on it though.

I am going stay with CNN, only because they do stay with it.

Not yet pissed off enough. Not nearly enough. I know all about the election, it was a landslide but he margin is still too small. We are a polarized nation. For just about every poll / issue the results teeter on 50%.

John Bolton thinks Egypt is headed for democracy, not sharia.

You should have read past the headline.

“Seriously it depends on what part of the country you ask the people, here in Alaska we are griping about the increase in gas prices, otherwise most of the brain dead voters up here could care less as long as Murkowski gets more pork for them.
I just don’t get that. My impression of Alaskans has always been that they’re drawn from similar stock as most folks in the frontier West. I’d expect to see a much fiercer response to Odumbo from them.”

Yes, except the Alaska natives (Eskimos, et al) have been seduced by all the welfare initiatives and so-called Fed gov “freebies” such that they readily support anyone who promises more of the same.....like Murkowski and other dems and RINOs!! It is absolutely disgusting and is readily apparent in remote villages that are reeling under booze and drugs-inspired crime and sexual assaults by lazy, youthful louts and corrupt elders hanging onto the gravy train!! (I have relatives there...)

Another tidbit, my fellow Alaskans “may” disagree with me, we do view Sarah Palin as a quitter, and many cannot comprehend the reasons why as they just do not have the mental capability of sacrifice and humbleness. Call it what you may but we don’t exactly have people throwing roses in front of where Sarah Palin marches, but its not a hate issue either, its probably really more of a frustration as NOT having a leader, NOT being viewed as “being tougher”.

Alaskans are getting weak, especially the native villages, and with more of the pork comes less will to overcome the days of bust. Alaska has and always will be, Boom and Bust.

Its fast becoming a Sarah Palin day to reach out, for her to reach out with her views on a New Egypt. If she is to become President for more than one term its time for her to speak out.

I was born in Alaska, and i agree, most cannot comprehend the reasons why she was forced to quit. Few know about the insanely liberal lawsuit laws in Alaska, and just how many frivolous harassing lawsuits were filed, which she by law was forced to defend against. To the point it severely interfered with her being able to do the job she was overwhelmingly elected for. (and most people will assume, instead of doing the tiniest bit of research...).

Alaskans are for a large part true survivors, but yes a whole lot just fail to see it it, like trying to stop a liberal blonde bimbo on any MSM news channel to stop calling a magazine for a gun a “clip”.

But anyway, I hope Sarah Palin offers words of encouragement to Egyptians online, they are not totally cut off.

Superimpose on Ben’s monetary policy’s effect on commodity prices, that is squeezing the poor worldwide, the rise in food costs created by our insane ethanol subsidies / mandates. A nice double whammy.

Burning food. Such a wonderful idea.
