Right? Some Iman declares that it's sunset and then guys begin bellowing on loudspeakers from the mosques.

Living in a somewhat central location is bad because you can hear several at once and they're never in synch on the key.

The Shia do theirs when dark is declared and a different set of mosques start bellowing.

No I guess not and I am from WV. Well I was born there and my family lived there until we left. My ancestors were among the first settlers. There were 3 early forts in WV established by my ancestors.

Half my kin were WV miners and the other half SW.PA miners and ‘shiners.

I’ve probably heard ‘em all....and laughed at every one of them...:)

In 10 minutes, starting from where I am, I can be in either PA or WV.

During my college days, which roughly coincided with the last dying gasps of the 33 1/3 LP, I came into possession of an album titled "Twisted Tunes" which featured (non-musical) celebrities performing various songs. Of course it had Shatner's "Rocket Man" (as well as "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds"), Leonard Nimoy performing, "If I had a Hammer," and Jack Webb doing, "Try A Little Tenderness" (it sounded like he was reading somebody their Miranda rights).

On that particular album, "Whiter Shade of Pale" was performed by Joel Grey.

I never wouuld’ve.

If my kin hadn’t been in this area for a hundred years *and* I weren’t afflicted with the classic hillbilly “born/live/die in the same square mile” refusal to budge, I’d be living there now.

There’s no more beautiful state in the whole country.

We spend a lot of time riding across the bridge on the Harleys and just kicking around the back roads all day, every summer.

Tiny, isolated “time left it behind” Paw Paw was pure paradise until the homos invaded it.
