Whirlpool front loader rocks!! I wash comforters, sleeping bags, curtains, down jackets, pillows - bed and sofa, everything fabric in my house with no problems for three years now.

This thing is one of the best purchases ever that just made life better and easier. Sits on a wood floor with hardly a sound when running. I would never, ever go back to a top loader.
