I totally agree about dachshunds. Once you have loved and lived with one of these little guys you will always have to have one in your life. Our vet had 2 who were sisters that lived for 22 years. He says no other dog even comes close to the dachshund. We have other breeds much larger but our dachshund is the alpha dog.
