Supposedly not true. A relative can get a copy of the BC in HI. He supposedly has a distant relative on his mother’s side that is military. This was discussed a while ago here.

I don’t know about that.... distant might make it impossible.
I do believe it would have to be a direct family member. Because other wise I could stand to inherit the Kennedy fortune. My Grandmother was a Fitzpatrick, one of THOSE Fitzpatricks.
