I know them all as well. I used to eat Suzy-Qs almost every day during study hall in high school. It is a miracle I didn’t weigh 200 pounds!
BTW, I think Hostess changed it’s formula/recipe on the cupcakes. They don’t taste the same to me anymore. I think it’s the frosting.
I think they changed the twinkies too. They just don’t taste as good as they used to.
Speaking of which, what is up with the ‘white cream’ some bakeries are using these days? Tastes like crisco with powdered sugar. What happened to the Holland Creme that was so light and fluffy?
And I used to eat Hostess Fruit Pies (you know, pastry with sugary fruit goo in the middle, blanketed by lard) every morning in the high school caf. Amazing I didn’t weigh 200 pounds, either! I don’t think I knew what a calorie was then. :)
