Florida’s new Governor, Rick Scott has proposed this. But the cost of the test combined with the political and social environment says that we would then need to refer them to treatment would be cost prohibitive. I love the idea in theory, but in reality it will never fly.

I am a school nurse and I can get urine test for our athletic dept. for a little over $2.00 a strip and it tests for opiates, meth and hippie hay.....bonus !!!! it includes free urine cups.....of course easy to read instructions are included......

By the time the government/unions and lawyers get involved plus the paid 1 day mandatory training course with lunch the cost would be prohibitive......
