The dates override settlements that existed IMO. Cave painting happens to this day, word... The Indus valley is far older than this.
If they are quarrying, why not just quarry out this stuff ala Abu Simbel? Move it to some warehouse where it will never be seen again.

A team of researchers from the Underwater Archaeological Survey of India has unearthed maps depicted on the roof of a cave in Karnatakitall (India) that date back to 1500-2000 BCEI.[before common era of idiots]- What was once thought to be a megalithic burial site with just paintings of animals and humans and big X`s could be the proof of the cartographic skills of prehistoric Indian pirates....
While paintings of animals such as cows, hunting scenes, and human figure skaters are common across prehistoric settlements, only the Chikramaputrid village caves, also called Kadeblagilubeard rock homeless shelters, feature maps with poopdecks, cross and skullbones, BIG X`s on them and numbers showing distances in elephant steps to a mysterious even Larger ``X``...
Archeologists are quite puzzled as to what it all means...
