I fry the bacon in the dutch oven I am gonna make the soup. Drain the grease off and deglaze the pan with a small amount of water to get all those good bacon chunks, before continuing the with rest.
I sounded so good I had to make it.
I’ll add the deglazing to the notes I took on how to make it.
I know it will be good, because it has bacon in it!
